Spring Bling: 4 Fool-Proof Ways to Turn Heads This Season

What do you get when you combine spring’s relaxed shapes and feminine colors with winter’s glamorous shimmer and shine? The sexiest warm-weather wardrobe of all time, a.k.a. our glittering, just-hit-stores, Spring 2018 collection. As connoisseurs of going-out vibes, we just didn’t have the heart to design a warm-weather collection without a few glimmering elements. But don’t think for a second we just designed some metallic tops and called it a day. Instead, we infused light-reflecting, dance-floor elements into every corner of the Express wardrobe, from our denim stacks to our collection of sandals and bags. In short, it’s going to be one blingy spring. Here, four ways to work the trend into your wardrobe this season. Shine on.

Ease In with Satin

Take spring pastels from girly to glamorous by opting for gleaming slinky satin fabrics that catch the light when you move. The beautiful thing about these pieces is that you can wear them virtually any time of day. Dress them down with denim and flat sandals for an afternoon adventure, then amp up the sex appeal with heels for a nighttime outing.

Be Extra with Subtly-Embellished Denim

Decorated denim is one of our favorite trends for spring, because it adds shine without requiring you to wear hunks of jewelry. That’s crucial for busy spring days when you want your outfit to move with you, not weigh you down. While you can style these jeans, skirts, and shorts to your liking we’re partial to a fitted white cotton T-shirt and sneakers for a cool-girl look that’s also sexy.

Go Out with a Bling in Shimmery Tops

Long live the going out top and its mysterious power to make you feel like a million bucks (even when you’re secretly thinking about just staying in). The spring version of this staple has just as much look-at-me twinkle as ever, but it’s done a lighter color palette that feels more appropriate for the season. Think petal pink and pale blue with just a touch of shine.

Add a Touch of Light with Accessories

We love sparkly accessories as much as the next woman, but they can feel a little “holiday party” for warm weather. That’s why we did them in spring colors and motifs (see: florals) that wouldn’t read quite so “Santa Baby.” If you’re looking to step up your bridal shower or rooftop-cocktails attire, these add-ons are just the way to do it. Beauty tip: Add a little clear gloss to your lids for a ‘20s-era finish.
