The Best Craft Brewers in the U.S. Right NowLIFE

When it comes to beer who doesn’t love coming across tasty new brews, especially when they’re at local breweries right in your own back yard? Luckily for us, and you, there are more and more breweries popping up across the country. From Grand Rapids to Vail to Cincinnati, beer lovers have an ever increasing breadth of options for riding the hoppy waves of amber and barley. But when it comes to picking “the best” it’s an almost impossible task. So instead we’ve highlighted a few of our own personal favorites.

Three Brewing | Brooklyn, NY

Of all the New York breweries, this brewer has out-paced all others in terms of popularity. Thanks to their collaborations with the likes of Other Half, Greenport Harbor (among others), in addition to the fact that their brewery hosts live DJ’s and bands in their taproom, and that their ever-changing menu keeps you pleasantly surprised on the regular, it all adds up the fail proof good time.

Founded in 2013, Rhinegeist is one of the fastest growing breweries in the United States right now. With a selection of their beers already at cult status across Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts, (they have plans to roll into more states within the coming year) they are primed to soon by your favorite go-to can, if they aren’t already. The only thing to worry about when it comes to selecting a Rhinegeist beer, is whether it will be in stock or not.

Revelry Brewing | Charleston, SC

A newcomer to the craft beer boom, they have quickly built a strong local reputation while capturing the industries attention, medaling at the US Open Beer Championship. At Revelry you can find a wide range of beers from barrel-aged to IPAs and with their eye for great ingredients you’ll likely be back for more.

Highland Park Brewery | Los Angeles, CA

In a city that’s often overlooked for their contribution to the craft beer game, Highland Park Brewery is one of the best around. Set up in Highland Park in an old escort club, HPB offers a fanatic selection of imperial stout, barrel-fermented  wheat beer and many others. These guys are good fun and well worth a visit.
