flattering for my hourglass figure I have never been able to wear a form-fitting dress so I'm not exactly sure why I even tried the dress on, but I was stunned to find that it was flattering and sexy. I didn't trust my own judgment so I asked my husband's opinion before buying -- he LOVES the dress, finds it really sexy. When I wear it, he comments on it constantly. I'm 5'8", 160-ish lb, total hourglass figure, 36D bust, wide hips, mostly (but not completely) flat stomach. I bought a large. My hips/thighs are what usually kill these dresses. I don't know why this dress looks so good, being form-fitting AND horizontal stripes, but it really does look great. It could be a little longer, it's too short to be able to wear it to work, but the shortness makes my legs look great too, so it's a tradeoff. I don't absolutely need spanx with this dress, but I do wear spanx so my stomach has no little pouch. May 18, 2012
