Unexpected love

I saw this dress online and it is not something I would normally wear, between the floral and polyester. However, when I saw it in-store I decided to try it on on a whim. SUCCESS. It is absolutely adorable and classy, can be dressed casual or up for spring/summer approaching. Yes, the polyester is very static-prone but I talked to a sales associate and she uses static blockers rubbed all over it and said it takes care of all static, so that's what I plan on doing :) I love the dolman fit also, because that way it will be a forgiving fit after a nice dinner. I also like it a lot better with no belt or a thinner belt than pictured online.

This is a beautiful dress. I purchased the blue originally, but have since ordered the pink online. I purchased a gray belt from express to go with the dress because even though the dress is beautiful alone the belt really adds to the beauty. This dress is perfect for date night with a pair of heels or toss on a pair of sandals for those spring cookouts.

Very pretty, perfect for dressing down or up, it's the perfect balance between casual and dressy, day or night. I got it in the orange but i'm getting it in the blue also. Like others said it does run large, I'm 5'8, 180 lbs, 36 DD and the Large was still too big for me, the medium worked much better. About the static cling, the one I ordered online had no problems but the blue one I tried on in-store had a lot of static. Hm. Still love this dress hands down

i normally wear a medium in dresses and thought this would look cute on so i decided to order it online... what i got in the mail was not at all what i expected. the fabric completely stuck to my skin and was not a flattering fit. the dress would either ride up if i adjusted the waistband jsut right or it would make me look huge... i'd recommend trying this on first in the store or trying a different dress altogether.

Flattering but static galore

I have broad shoulders and am busty. I usually wear a size small at Express, sometimes a medium in their tank tops. Much to my surprise, this dress was so large up top that I had to go down to an XS in order to not look like I was drowning in fabric. Its supposed to be loose and flowy above the elastic waist, but it was too much so, even for a particularly top-heavy girl like me. By going down to the XS, the dress got a little shorter, too short for a family event, but still flattering and sexy for a fun night out or daytime sun dress. I'm thinking some unnoticeable spandex shorts underneath might also be in order. I will be wearing it on a cruise :-) Also, maybe its just the dry air during the winter, but this dress has the worst static cling I've ever experienced. I'm going to have to buy a bottle of static guard.
