back pockets?? These fit nicely if a little big. However, the description says they have black slit pockets and they do indeed have pocket fabric attached to the slit detail on back but they are sewn closed. I work in sales and usually keep my phone in my back pocket while at work so I was really disappointed. Guess I will have to see what the tailor can do about it. July 28, 2015
Great Looking Pant but Going Down in Quality So pretty much all of my work pants/clothes are bought at express. I really love them because they fit comfortably and have some stretch in case I need to do something other than sit at my desk. This Style however is probably my favorit of all the express pants, I am in love with the wide waistband, the fit through the thighs and the freedom of the flare around my calf. However lately I have noticed a real decline in the quality of pants Express has been selling. I am not talking about the fabric but about the actual stitching. 3 pairs, yes 3, of my newest pants from Express have had their hem stitching come undone and completely come out! This is after maybe 1 or 2 wears and now I have to spend more time and money on already fairly expensive pants to fix them when they souldn't have that problem in the first place! It's a little bit ridiculous the quality control that has been going on if it has happened to 3 pairs of pants with very minimal wear. (One hem came out during a meeting/hearing and I thought I was going to die from the embarrasment of tripping over a too long hem!) July 24, 2015
Did the sizing change...? :( Love the studio stretch wide waistband Editor pant - it's a classic shape, perfect for work, and comfortable. The wide waistband combined with the drape of the flared leg is super flattering. Been wearing the Editor pant for years. Not a fan of the medium charcoal, which has always seemed a bit drab to me, but the black is great. But did something happen with the sizing?? I recently ordered this in 4L (the size I've been wearing for some time), and I could barely button/zip it. And I don't think I'm in denial about gaining weight or something - I'm still fitting into the right size in other clothing, and if anything I'm losing rather than gaining. I bought the Editor in studio stretch barely boot as well, and that one fit just fine at the waist. I'll go into a store soon and try on the wide waistband again, see if it still fits true like it used to... July 23, 2015
LOVE THEM After my pregnancy This is the type of pant thatmakes me look with a better figure and takes what is needed in all the right places. Express is the BEST ever in pants July 9, 2015
The Perfect Pants I absolutely love Editor pants. They fit great, look sleek and polished, and they are fantastic quality. I have a couple pairs that I have worn regularly for the last decade and they are still in good shape. I cannot say that about any other pants I have ever owned. As long as the Editor exists, I will never buy another brand of slacks! July 6, 2015
