This wool blend overcoat riffs on the traditional peacoat style to offer sophistication and a vivid color pop with more coverage, plus an elongating effect on your look. It's ideal over workplace ensembles and the season's slouchy silhouettes.
Wide extended point collar, long sleeves
Drop double breasted button front
Slant wide welt hand pockets, center back vent
Piping at collar, sleeves & pockets, lined, 35" long
Great grab for next winter
I was waiting for this coat to go on sale "enough" since $200+ is a little steep for me... so I finally was able to purchase it and I was really delighted by how this looks on me. Being 5'3, I wondered if it would overwhelm my body but it's more tailored than it looks in the photo. Structurally, it feels like it's good quality and heavy enough for semi-cold winter days. (colder upstate NY days require the puffy coats :P )

this coat runs really big, but it is very comfy & warm.

My sister purchased this coat from Express in a navy blue shade with gold buttons and gave it to me for Christmas. I was ecstatic when I opened it. The description is on point--complimentary to slouchy silhouettes (which is my style). I wear it to the office and I also throw it over my outfit with my high waisted denim (also from Express) for a night out. I also love the fact that it can be worn over a dress. It is a unique fit.
