TAB WAIST BARELY BOOT COLUMNIST PANT 2.8 5 4 4
Button Unbuttons The pants fit true to other express pants size, however the button on waste will not stay buttoned when I bend over. My work requires me to do lots of bending over. I liked the other columnist pants, but if this button worked I'd like the pants. I will have to return these sadly. June 5, 2014
Favorite Pants The only reason they are a bit small is because the belt button may not stay buttoned if you are super bloated. Otherwise, the length is awesome, the color is nice, and they fit great. January 17, 2014
Tab doesn't match up I love the lighter color and the slight stretch, and the tab adds a nice detail... however when worn the tab does not reach far enough to attach, and when you do get it buttoned it pulls the edge up, akwardly sticking out. It then pulls and unattaches. At first I thought it was because they were too small, but I got the next size up, and they are a little big in the waist, and still does the same thing. It works when hanging up but not when actually worn. It's disappointing, I didn't return them, just don't wear them with anything tucked in, defeating the purpose of the detail. November 3, 2013
Hem falls out! I have purchased 5 pairs of pants for work from Express in the last 18 months, both Editor and Columnists styles, including a pair of these Tab Waist in gray. I love the fabric, fit and color of these, but the hem has fallen out in EVERY SINGLE PAIR. I thought maybe it was just something weird I was doing, shoes I was wearing, but I've talked to several people lately that have had the same problem with Express dress pants. And I've never had that problem with other brands. Bottom line is they fit cute, but the quality is disappointing and to have to continually take them to a tailor to wear them is annoying.
