STUDIO STRETCH CONTRAST BARELY BOOT COLUMNIST PANT
The columnist pants are my favorite work pants. I always had trouble finding pants that fit me nicely and these are perfect. For size reference, I wear a 00 and I am 5'5 115. They are tight at first but I always find that they stretch out a little. So i go with the smaller size.

Very Disappointed :(
Here's my experience with these pants...
I bought these a while ago as I was searching for a gray pair of dress pants... I wanted the Columnist pants in the heather gray color but they stopped carrying it for some reason, so I thought that since I love the two pairs of Studio Stretch Columnist pants that I owned at the time, I sure would love these too... I was so wrong, but when I realized that it was too late to return them since I had already worn them.
First, the material is VERY THIN and unlike the other Studio Stretch Columnist pants that I have... it's so thin that I feel uncomfortable wearing them to work without a long cardigan to cover my hips... So unattractive!
Second, it fits weird in the waist and hips area, in a not-so-flattering way... it's kind of baggy in the hips area, but rather smaller in the waist area, which again was unlike the other pairs that I love wearing (it could be due to the fact that it's a different material and has no elasticity).
Overall, I am very disappointed and have worn these pants about 4 times over a period of more than 1 year, which is ridiculous given how much I paid for them!
I know some reviewers noted that they elongate the legs, which probably is the only nice thing about these pants that I like, especially with heels.
I keep checking the Express website and stores frequently in the hopes that they bring back the Columnist Barely Boot in heather gray or at least make the new Editor barely boot pants in that same color because I love the other pants that I bought from Express and it seems like it's the only store where I find nice work pants that fit well...

Slim, Sexy & Great Weave Color
These pants make your legs look so slim and somehow makes your rear look higher - all things most average women struggle with achieving even when we're in shape. It elongates the look of the leg since the regular pant length runs slightly long (must wear heels, but I do anyway). I've received so many compliments today. Love the contrast as well. These fit true to size with a relaxed waist.

Great Pants !!!!!!
I love these pants. These are like my third pair of dress pants from Express. They are true to size and SUPER comfortable. It also matches perfectly with my gray Express suit jacket.

Sharp !- little big but shrinks
I bought these pants in the 00s. I am 4'11, 106 lbs with muscular thighs with no hips. These pants do run slightly big and I feel like I need bigger hips to fill out the butt area. If I'm wearing the smallest size available I think I should be filling them out. I'm not THAT small. HOWEVER..I washed them and hung them to dry and when I wore them again I noticed they were not as loose. They must have shrunk, but in this case that was a good thing! I recommend buying a size smaller than you normally would in columnist pants. I usually wear the 00s in editor and 0s in columnist, but the studio stretch versions run bigger. (keep in mind they shrink a bit - but for narrow hipped ladies like me it helps!) All in all super sexy, classy pants. Love love love!
