If you don't already own a portofino shirt, run out and buy one (or 3). It is one of the most flattering tops I own- I'm still holding on to a bit of extra baby weight in my tummy, but it does an excellent job of camouflaging it.

Perfect for any occasion
I love, love, love this top. This is one of four portofino shirts that I have, and it's my favorite. You can go casual and wear it with black leggings, or a little more pulled together for a night out by either wearing it with Express's scuba leggings or black jeggings, or even make it more office-appropriate by pairing it with a suit or tuck it into a black pencil skirt. I love this shirt because of its versatility, and because it is so comfortable! I usually wear between an xs and s in Express shirts, and I like the more slender fit of the xs in these shirts. If you're going for a more flowy look, then maybe go up a size if you're between sizes like me.

I have found the peanut butter to my jelly with the portofino. And this design is probably, by far, my favorite. in LOVE with the contrast stripes, black and white are my color portfolio, and I think the perpendicular stripes give this shirt an edge that I love. You can pair it with so much more than just black..

Admittedly I didn't really give these shirts a second glance when they first came out. That is until I saw this striped Portofino on a fellow Instram-er and knew that I had to track it down. Thankfully, a nearby store had this in my standard size small. Because I was in a hurry, I grabbed my size and didn't bother to try it on. When I got it home later that night and tried it on, I was pleasantly surprised with how great it looked! The stripes are bold without being too over the top. I love that the pockets have the contrasting direction stripes as I think that kind of makes the shirt. The design of this reminds me of the popular but expensive Equipment shirts. This draped very well and had just the right amount of looseness and flow to it. I like that this has the option of the button tab sleeve so you can change the look. I think this will be very easy to dress up or down. This will look great with a leather pencil skirt and heels for the office. Roll the cuffs, pair with cut-offs and studded sandals for a more casual look. Or leave untucked, pair with leather leggings and funky heels for an edgy look. I grabbed this in the polka dot pattern as well though I may end up grabbing other colors/ patterns. Decent price with the BOGO deal that's going on plus a coupon. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
