MID RISE TROUSER STYLE SLIM FLARE JEAN 3.3 5 3 3
If you are looking for low-rise trouser jeans.... Then you are in luck! These are great looking and a little tight through the thighs in my normal size. Great looking, just a couple inches short of mid rise. I've returned them. Would *love* to see these in a high rise, or even a true mid-rise. September 5, 2014
Fabulous, Comfortable Jeans! As soon as I tried these on in the Express store I knew I had to have them! Don't be afraid of the "flare"--these are fabulously flattering to curvy girls, balancing the hip to ankle ratio nicely, and the silhouette is classy, not ridiculously 70s. Love the mid-rise--for those of us who are curvy with some tummy, the slightly higher waist is super comfortable and no muffin top danger. The stretch in the waist means no pinching in at the waistline and no gap. These fit your figure like a glove! I like these trouser-style Stellas because if you dress them up right, they can look professional enough for work while still feeling like a comfy weekend jean. They do run really long, but as someone who wears a lot of high heels/wedges/boots I don't mind the length at all. Still, if you want to wear flats with these you might want to buy the short version rather than the regular. These run a teeny bit large, but not so big I had to size down. I'm a pretty regular size 8, that size worked well for me, but if you're between sizes you might want to try the smaller one first. I love the Express slim flare so much I bought one in all three styles--we all know a great jean is HARD to find! August 10, 2014
trouser jean While I liked the style, the pockets didn't do anything to flatter my bubble butt and the front pockets stuck out weird. Also, runs smaller than the other Mia Slim Flare jeans. Very long as well...I'm 5'8 and the 6R was almost hitting the floor w/3 inch platforms on. If you have a butt, I'd go for the pocketless style instead of these! August 9, 2014
