MID RISE JEAN LEGGING
Nice everyday jeggings. I brought these with me on my Europe trip and wore them every other day!

I bought these based on the good reviews. I am a size 8 (5'6" and 141 lbs), these leggings are just a little too tight; however, I assume they will stretch over time and they are leggings so they should be tight. I thought about trying a 10, but decided to stay with my 8. I am currently wearing them with a tunic and booties; I feel amazing

I love the jeans. First time using them the dark blue wash rubbed off onto my purse and my car seat. (i have light seats)

Love the leg lengthening effect!
These are Mias even though they aren't labeled as such online. I got a pair of Mia's in a non-legging style last year and these fit a little differently. The denim is thin and soft, so it's flexible, however they will be chilly to wear in the middle of winter. I have a hard time finding jeans that fit, especially leggings, and these were good enough that I'm grabbing more as I add some mid-rise styles to my wardrobe. And the description is true: these really are cut to flatter and lengthen your legs!
I typically need to buy Longs and size up one or two sizes with Express leggings. Needed two sizes up with these, so they run somewhat snug. The length on the regulars was fine for flats, but I also kept the longs to wear with heels. The little bit of extra length on the rise with the Longs also made them a bit more comfortable through the hip area than the regulars. The mid-rise height makes your legs look even longer and was surprisingly not bad looking. Even with the mid-rise though, these still go down quite a bit in back (although not into crack territory like all the low-rise jeans). So while I was looking forward to not freezing in winter from exposed back skin or having to worry about my underwear hanging out, looks like I'll still have to be careful when I sit down or be sure to wear a belt.
The waist on these has an upside down curve shape when viewed from the side which makes them more flattering, so the button part sits a little lower, the waist curves up a tad, then the back curves down even lower than the front. (At least on me it did.) This also created a bit of a gap in the back of the waist, but not enough for me to forego keeping them. I was also pleasantly surprised when a crop top I had gotten and thought I really wouldn't be able to wear, came right to the top of these. So give these a try if you want a higher rise style of jean without having to go all the way up to your belly button high.
Laundry tip: I've only tried them on and haven't washed or worn them yet, but another reviewer complained of the dye rubbing off and bleeding. Try adding some vinegar to the wash when laundering them; it is supposed to help set the colors.
