    Unusual Fit Compared to Other Express Products The color and lacey design on this dress are really pretty,but the fit was very, very strange on me. I buy the majority of my clothes at Express, and this really is the most awkward looking item I've tried. I'm 5'2" and quite heavy in the hips and bust. The length was perfect, but the waistline fell too low and the straps sat in a way that was too narrow and revealed unattractive side-boob. I was especially sad and confused because I have two regular Skater Dresses and they fit wonderfully. Maybe the item I got had some kind of flaw and it's not a universal Lace Skater Dress problem, but I recommend trying it on--even if you're very familar with the typical fit of Express clothing.     Super cute, long straps I adore this dress in this color and in the ivory. The black looked a little less classy in the store. I'm a huge fan of Express dresses, which tend to be forgiving of my broad shoulders. I'm 5'2" 115 34C and usually wear XS or 0. The XS fits great, except it's clearly made for a taller woman (or one with a longer torso). Since the straps are so long the cleavage is low, the waist hangs low, and the bra is visible from the sides. I love it so much that I'm getting it tailored, one lift of the straps should fix it. But this happens to me often here with dresses and jackets - please bring more petites! May 9, 2013
