LOVE THESE EDITOR PANTS! Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I cannot wait until the skinny jean/pant trend goes out of style. (To be honest, it's not the most flattering look on me.) BUT, being the fashion-forward person that I am, I still want to look modern and chic when I go to work. These Editor pants do exactly that! They are incredibly flattering, lengthening, and slimming. It's the perfect combination of professional, chic, and comfortable. Just pair it with a Portofino shirt, and I am ready to take on the workday! I immediately purchased the black and grey, but I foresee I'll be adding more to my closet in the near future. April 4, 2015
Signature Stretch Original Flare Editor Pant I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the fit and feel of these pants. They are perfect for any occasion and they are true to fit. I've worn and washed mine several times and they have not faded or shrunk as long as you follow washing instructions. These are one of the best pair of dress pants I own and they look great on! Why did they change?! About 7 years ago, I bought the flare editor pants, size 4 regular. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I still wear them today because I love the fit and the look so much. I thought it would be easy to replace since I knew the size that I wear and the style. So, I bought Editor pants, flare, size 4 regular and size 4 short. I saw that the length for regular was 33 inches, which I'm more of a 32" girl, so I wanted to try short length too, just in case. The 4 short waist fit, but the length was too short (they didn't even come close to the ground in my bare feet). The 4 regular waist was too big, and the length was too long ( I am walking on them with my highest heels). If the regular waist fit, I would have just hemmed them myself. I really wish the sizes didn't change so much. I really need to replace my old Editors, and I was intending to go with what I know I like and what I know works for me. Now, however, I'm still looking for my next great dress pants. They were such a disappointment. March 24, 2015
Prefer Wide Waist Band I'm curvy. I'm an appropriate weight for my frame and build: 5'9" and about 165, athletic, hourglass build. The long length is a tad long (like, 1/2" maybe) but, change from my work Danskos to stilettos and not too long at all. I prefer the wide waistband Editor just because I'm not tall, not short, not skinny; but the rise in these pants is just short enough to hit the waist/hips in an uncomfortable zone. I ordered a size or two up (I tend to be 6 or 8 pretty much everywhere else, but with Express I tuck in my vanity and buy a 10). They do loosen up, and I could probably wear an 8 (snug) but, I use them for work and I'd rather they be a little loose than a little tight. March 5, 2015
Best Work Pants! I've been buying these pants for over two years for work. They fit great, and are super comfortable! March 5, 2015
