comfy wardrobe addition The 'oversize' of this shirt means that the sleeves are longer than regular size, and the shoulders are wider than regular size, which means the body is a also a little bit wider. The material is super soft, but not thick/heavy like flannel. You can wear it untucked over leggings or jeans like a tunic, tucked in the front only w/ the back covering the derriere, or open cardigan-style. Wearing it over an LBD with booties & a beanie would be a great Silver Lake look. The Express 'boyfriend' shirts that look similar are simply wider in the body than the Portofino's, meaning less fitted, but everything else is scaled appropriate to size. Those suggesting you go down a size are buying the wrong style - it's meant to be slouchy. February 21, 2015
Cute print, bad cut The print on this shirt is really nice. Big and Bold. But the fit is off. It's runs really big and fits very boxy. January 16, 2015
Plaid Oversized Shirt Great casual plaid shirt. This shirt is oversized and very soft. I would recommend this for a casual look. January 8, 2015
Yes, this shirt is oversized. Buuuut that IS spelled out for you in the name, which is why I marked this shirt as being true to size. I'm a very petite girl, and I still adore this shirt. From the looks of things, Express is trying to include "street chic" into its product line. Which, as a former employee of the company who incorporates that look into her style often, I had long been awaiting. So bravo and kudos to Express for finally making my dreams come true. Anyway, if you would like for this shirt to be more fitted, you should probably go down two sizes, if applicable. If you are petite like me, then use it as a laying piece. The softness of this shirt, alone, is worth the purchase. January 6, 2015
So soft, but a little shorter than I wanted Oversized is not an exaggeration. I normally wear a small in Express shirts. For reference, I'm 5'7" 135lbs 34C. After reading reviews, I ordered an XS. Shirt fits pretty well, but I do wish it was a bit longer. So soft though and received multiple compliments, so definitely keeping. Side note, it looks a bit pinker in person. January 1, 2015
