I've purchased maybe 4 or 5 of these in different colors. The gold and rose gold tarnished. The chain broke on the silver and the rose gold. I really like this necklace but it's annoying that they break. The only one I didn't have an issue with was the pewter color. Probably because I don't wear that one often. Fortunately, I caught them on a deep discount.

I've had this necklace in silver for several years, and it is still in excellent condition. I have gotten many compliments on this necklace when wearing it. However, I do find that I avoid wearing it sometimes for two reasons:
1. I wish that the length was a bit more adjustable. I am a petite person, so it would work with more of my outfits if I could shorten the length just a bit more. I almost always need to keep it at its shortest chain length.
2. The flexible part of the necklace that goes around the neck frequently pulls at small hairs on my neck. It really hurts!! As a result, I mostly just like to wear it with turtlenecks, haha.

I really loved this necklace. I wore it a few times, but soon noticed that the chain was fading to a silver color. If you only need the necklace for a special occasion, it is really a wonderful choice. It's a basic piece that still makes a statement. Even if the color hasn't worn off, I wish the necklace could be adjusted a bit more so that it could be more of a choker style.

This is a very classy necklace. You can adjust it to whatever length is comfortable. I was skeptic about it resting nicely on my neck since it looks stiff. After seeing it on a display, I decided to try it on. I'm glad I did. It isn't heavy at all, and it sits comfortably without knowing it's even there.
