It’s been a whirlwind year for Holy White Hounds. Ever since the release of their album Sparkle Sparkle, Holy White Hounds has spent much of their time on the road, headlining shows and opening for alt-Rock icons like the Cult and Pretty Reckless. Though the Des Moines-based rock n’ roll group started local, they’ve been “scratching and clawing” their way to success. Now, they play venues from coast to coast, rocking shows from Vermont to Portland to Florida.
Chances are you first discovered Holy White Hounds organically. You probably heard them on the radio. Or maybe you saw them opening for your favorite band. However you discovered them is just how the band wanted it. The group began regionally in Des Moines, traveling show to show to connect with new fans and to push new songs forward in a rapid way. Mix rock with a little punk, and you have the sound that landed Holy White Hounds their first record deal last year.
You can expect Holy White Hounds to continue making waves in alternative radio and alt-Rock. As they recover from their crushing headline tour in support of Sparkle Sparkle, the band is set to relight the roads on May 13 at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Missouri. You can purchase tickets here.
